James Goss, works entirely in stone from his studio on the Big Island, Hawaii, USA. Working in a variety of beautiful stone the sculptor creates abstract, contemporary stone sculpture. The range of stones carved leads to a range of sculpture, from smaller indoor art work to larger outdoor sculpture.

Large Yule Marble Sculptures

We moved to Hawaii in September 2002. Five days after we arrived our son arrived. Jackson Ty Sept. 8, 2002 The fruit trees, vanilla vines, Cacao (chocolate trees), and figs that James has been busy planting and tending are begining to produce. James had a big commision this winter from an art dealer in Hong Kong and has been working on a few smaller pieces in the new studio.
He has also been carving and fiberglassing surfboards and body boards for the family. The Summer Fishing season is starting up and he and Ty caught their first ono of 2011 this last week.
