You can use rockscapes to create a hidden garden, shade garden, or that special microclimate you need to grow your favorite cultivar. Combine natural stones with a waterfall feature or fountain and pond to create your own backyard oasis.
As a stone sculptor James gathers rock from desert sand beds to alpine rockeries and basalt colonnades (i.e. Devil's Tower, WY). His search for carving stone has exposed him to many of nature's rockscapes. Using basalt columns, basalt bowls granite plates, lichen and moss covered stones he has created a wide range of rockscapes that mimic the forms he found in nature.
